ABOUT THE CLINIC
Bridgeland Advanced Gynecology is an association of three independent specialist physicians, and one to two specialist physicians completing a surgical fellowship in advanced and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. All physicians are primarily based out of the Peter Lougheed Centre, and are affiliated with the University of Calgary.

Bridgeland Advanced Gynecology provides modern, up-to-date, and minimally invasive gynecologic care. Its physicians focus on endometriosis (including excisional surgery), fibroids, abnormal uterine & heavy menstrual bleeding, advanced hysteroscopy, and complex pelvic pathology. Obstetrical (pregnancy-related) services are also provided (Dr. Sanders & Dr. Andrew only).
At our clinic, you will be offered a range of management options including conservative, medical, surgical, and complimentary approaches to manage your symptoms. Our patients come first, and we are here to ensure that your care is handled in a compassionate, respectful, and well-informed nature. Dr. Liane Belland

Dr. Belland completed her Doctor of Medicine at McMaster University and her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Calgary. She completed a surgical fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy & Endometriosis at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, as well as a Master of Science in Molecular Virology & Immunology at McMaster University.

She provides gynecologic care, is a clinical assistant professor, and is the Fellowship Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Belland is an active member of CanSAGE (Canadian Society for the Advancement of Gynecologic Excellence), She is a regular contributor to the CanSAGE Video Library.
Dr. Ari P. Sanders

Dr. Sanders completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Calgary. He completed a surgical fellowship in Advanced Gynecologic Surgery at the University of Toronto, as well as a Master of Science in System Leadership and Innovation at the University of Toronto.

He provides gynecologic and obstetrical care, and is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Sanders is an active member of CanSAGE (Canadian Society for the Advancement of Gynecologic Excellence), He is a regular contributor to the CanSAGE Video Library​.
Dr. Lauren Andrew

Dr. Andrew completed her Doctor of Medicine at Dalhousie University and her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Calgary. She completed a surgical fellowship in Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the University of Calgary, as well as a Master of Public Health at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

She provides gynecologic and obstetrical care, and is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Calgary.
